rousefinerva.com is the careers and contact website of RouseFinerva, formed by the merger of Rouse Partners and Finerva. For the personal information collected through this website, the data controller is Rouse Partners LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England and Wales, number OC355817, of 55 Station Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, HP9 1QL. Our registration number with the Information Commissioner’s Office is Z2277311.

Who we share it with

Within RouseFinerva, your application is seen only by the people involved in the recruitment decision. Outside the firm, we share it only with:

  • Referees and past employers, and only once we have made you an offer and told you we are contacting them.
  • Universities and professional bodies, to confirm qualifications you have told us about, again only once we have made you an offer and with your knowledge.
  • The recruitment agency that introduced you, if you applied through one.

Transfers outside the UK. Google and Cloudflare are certified under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, so transfers to them rely on the UK–US data bridge. Our website host, Pressable, is a US company. It runs this site from Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, which the UK recognises as providing adequate protection. Standby and backup copies of the site may be kept in its data centres in the United States, and its support staff and some of its subcontractors work outside the UK. These transfers are covered by our data processing agreement with Pressable, which includes the International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses issued by the UK Information Commissioner.

We never sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Applications are held in our recruitment system on this website and in our recruitment inbox. In the recruitment system, your email address and phone number are encrypted, and your CV and cover letter are stored encrypted and can only be opened by authorised staff who are signed in. Our recruitment team deletes both copies when the period ends.

Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site uses one cookie of its own and, if analytics is on, two from Google Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or social media tracking.

Google Analytics does not store your IP address. We have set it to keep data for 14 months, turned off Google’s own use of the data for its products and services, and do not link it to advertising.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works normally without them.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct it if it is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete it, or to stop or limit how we use it;
  • object to our use of it where we rely on our legitimate interests;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent, such as for job alerts;
  • ask for information you gave us to be sent to you or to another organisation in a common format.

To use any of these rights, contact us using the details under Who we are. We will reply within one month. There is no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when the way we use information changes, for example when more of our services move to this website during 2027. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
